We are Sammie and Danielle, the artists, designers, & SAD baddie besties behind SAD Girls Bookish Designs.

As creatives, book girlies, and merch lovers, we often feel like our taste is alternative to the norm. We wanted to create the designs that we want to see and find our people! 


Why are we SAD Girls? As a Pisces and Cancer, we are water signs with water works. That being said, you don’t have to be a water sign, or even a girl, to be a SAD Girl! We also realized that “Sammie And Danielle” shortened to SAD, so we had to take on this tongue-in-cheek name.

NO AI. All of our designs are our own. Danielle has a background in graphic design, and together we create our own artwork for our designs. Seriously, AI can suck it.
